6th Grade Marking System:
The assignment book is a key tool in 6th grade to
communicate with teachers and see what homework your child has. You
will be seeing it frequently (at least once a week for a signature).
As you look through the assignment book you will see various marks given
by the teachers. Below you will find a key what those marks mean.
Students who earn 12 or fewer marks in a month are rewarded with an
incentive (fun activity) while those that earn 13 or more marks are
completing missing work, organizing their lockers, and setting goals so
they can earn the incentive the next month.

AB- Daily assignments not recorded - does NOT mean your child was absent
N- No assignment or incomplete assignment
M- Materials lacking - no pencil, paper, textbook, etc.
E- Electronics in the classroom (they should be left in their locker)
D- Disruptive behavior
U- Uncooperative
L- Locker use at unscheduled time
G- Gum or candy
TD- Tardy to class
